SPRING 2021
It’s All High Tide Now

And in the summer I turned things off. The world was too much to keep up with. I was too much
to keep up with. We were too much to keep up with. We walked the new black dog, a puppy
expanding into the world, carving out positive space alongside our curious urchins doing the
same. The melancholy world slid around us and sighed. The trees went up & up and sprayed
cottonwood snow,
a soft layer over the land.
A single bird called, again & again, and the rain returned
